 John and Jean Whittemore Sons: Stephen and Chris // Daughter: Sandy Christar (john.whittemore@interman.us) “John & Jeanne Whittemore have served as missionaries with Christar since 1969. John is currently the Regional Director for Christar’s East Asian fields which include Mongolia, China, Japan, Philippines and Indonesia. Working together they provide both pastoral care and administrative oversight of all of Christar’s missionaries on these five fields. Jeanne is also the Director of Women’s Ministries for women serving on these same fields. These responsibilities plus teaching in the mission’s two orientation programs each year keep them on the road about 50% of the time. When they are in town they are also involved in outreach to Hindus and Muslims living in Hong Kong.” Look for further updates on the Whittemores as they become available !
